Mentoring West Midlands seeks to be an equitable employer and to engage the most suitable people to do the challenging, rewarding and important work we undertake. Notably, we have a majority female team and no 'glass ceiling' for the right people that look to develop careers within the organisation.
All succcesful applicants go through the same initial background checks before being offered terms and conditions of employment; further checks will be undertaken if they are working in custody. Checks will include background offence and other security checks e.g. Enhanced DBS and HMPPS clearances, a minimum of two professional references including current employer and proof of all relevant qualifications and the right to work and current residence in the UK. Also we will employ ex-offenders, in certain roles, as we believe in 'practising what we preach' so giving people chances to move forward in life. Furthermore, we seek to be family friendly where possible, providing any available flexibilities around the busy demands of working in this arena and managing a home life with children.
Our jobs will be advertised on Indeed with a full and detailed CV being the first document we need to receive; some jobs will require a written submission beyond that as it all depends on what you're applying to do with us. If you have a query about any job we are advertising please write to:
info@mentoringwestmidlands.co.uk
Clearly stating the job you're interested in, your personal details and your question/s. We will not answer any emails which do not provide that level of information.
